I have actually read this quite a while back and I intended to write about it at the time I finished reading it. But well, I haven't done it yet now, have I? Let's start shall we;
This book is about two people, Emma and Dexter, who met on their graduation day. As most stories go, they became an inseparable pair. They spent years and years having hits and misses with each other, exploring the world with each other and also other people. When Dexter got into relationships with other women (which was all the time), Emma was still the person that Dexter could depend on in the end. Emma also had her try with relationships but nothing ever seemed to work. Dexter was always somewhere in her mind, even if it was just a small part of it, he was still present.
One day, when Emma flew over to Paris with hope that she'd find love and inspiration, Dexter wasn't so free and breezy himself. In search for his life once again, he flew over to Paris to seek his old time companion only to realize that what he had been looking for has been right in front of him all along.
Naturally, the two best friends fell in love with each other and decided to walk down the aisle.
By that time I was reading it, I thought that it had such a classic storyline.
That was, until I came to the near ending. Now that, you will have to read for yourself :3
Review;
This story somehow reminds me of the book Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern, also a story of two people who were best friends that finally found each other in the very end. Since I've read something like it, it didn't hit me as something so great. I thought it was an okay read but not for those that seek an out of the ordinary storyline. Otherwise, if you're a sucker for romantic comedies, then by all means, take a peek at it (:
