I've always loved to dress up from time to time just for the fun of it.
Looking good (at least thinking I look good) has always managed to lift
my mood for the day.
The thing about me and fashion (or anything for that matter) is that I cannot ever say I won't try it. For example, when I was younger I remembered saying that I will never wear accessories out because it's just too much effort. Well well well, guess who has an entire jewelry box filled with necklaces and bracelets now? (ME!)
So today, I decided to try out one of my so called 'never-ever-will-I-try' trends which is the jumpsuit. A patterned one at that. I bought this for $15 (original price was $35) in the city and I tell you I have no regrets.
Anyone who's observed me will have probably picked up that I absolutely love wearing black and white. As much as I love colour, black and white (together or seperate) gives me so much flexibility in deciding which tudung colour I'd be wearing and I especially love that since I have so many different coloured scarfs.
Then again, I'm always ALWAYS changing my style. I literally never stick to one style which is what makes it so dangerous for me to say 'never-will-I-try' anything because when I say it, I'm in a different fashion mood.
I would say that my personal mood is quite stable, but when it comes to fashion trends, my mood is like a time bomb. From pops of colour to somber ones, skirts and dresses to just jeans and a t-shirt, from tudung bawals to shawls, jumpsuits to jubahs , palazzos to skinny jeans, plains to patterns, trust me, I've tried out a lot of stuff.
and I'm looking forward to try out even more styles (especially before I get married and have children because honestly, I wouldn't want my mum wearing bold printed jumpsuits when we go out together!)
