The next three weeks

This time, last week, I was at the Redcliffe jetty watching a sunrise. And on a school day.

I cannot stress how random the trip was seeing as my friend texted me at 3.45 am asking me if I wanted to come with. It's weird enough that I actually woke up when that text came into my inbox (my phone was on silent), even weirder that I said yes. Okay I guess it's not that weird that I agreed to it but still, a trip all the way to Redcliffe, about 45 minutes away, for a sunrise.

That was pretty awesome.

No such trips this week, unfortunately.

The next three weeks are going to be quite busy with essay and design submissions. I kind of feel like I should be freaking out more, but I'm surprisingly calm at the moment.

I'm a tad bit scared for the essay because I didn't get the best mark for debates and I was pretty upset about that since I put in quite an effort.

But that's architecture for you. It can be pretty daunting, the subjectivity of it all. I still believe in effort though, and I believe that if I put in effort then maybe good things will come (but sometime life has a way of making a joke out of my efforts, sadly).

Anyway, this is just me checking in to tell everyone that I'm fine, alive and kicking.

And that I can't wait for the semester to be over so that I can have a good summer break.
